The OMM Soccer Coaches Commitment

As a Volunteer Coach in the Orangetown Mighty Midgets Athletic Association (OMM), I agree to abide by the precepts and general expectations as outlined below:

1. I hereby acknowledge the faith and trust placed in me by the parents of the children entrusted to my care as a coach in the OMM Soccer Organization.
    
2. As the responsible adult present at the practices and games, I agree to act in a mature and professional fashion to the children, their family, friends, and parents.
    
3. I have every right to expect the same courteous treatment back from the players and parents as well.
    
4. I acknowledge that the league referees of the games are also children and deserve the same courtesy and care any child is entitled to.
    
5. I will do my best to remember this in the heat of the games and will refrain from undue comments and arguments with these children.
    
6. I understand that repeated “violations” of this code of conduct could result in being prohibited from continuing in the role of coach within the OMM.
    
7. Finally, I agree to try my best to insure that the children in my temporary charge, learn to play soccer and have fun doing it, in practices as well as games.
